It is like a watercolour pencil without the woodcasing containing 5 times the amount of colour. It can be used wet or dry as conventional watercolour pencils - simply remove the wrap to apply broad strokes from the solid stick, or break into easy to handle chunks. Aquatone is ideal for broad, expressive work, landscapes, backgrounds and drawings where big splashes of colours are needed. Aquatone is extremely versatile and can create stunningly different drawing and painting effects.
