Aquafine offers brilliant, transparent, free-flowing watercolours ideal for students and hobbyists alike. All colours are traditionally manufactured in England, and stem from Daler-Rowneys heritage as a world reference in watercolour since the 19th century when Rowney worked with Turner as his official lithographer.
The full range of 37 Aquafine colours gives rich, free-flowing transparent colour, with excellent tinting strength and working properties. All colours can be used to produce beautiful and delicate washes
To complement our range of Artists' Water Colour, Winsor & Newton also produce the Cotman range. This range of 40 colours is made to their normal quality standards but costs are kept to an economical level by replacing some of the more costly pigments with less expensive alternatives keeping their exacting quality standards with a carefully selected range to offer a wide colour spectrum within a uniform price. Light fastness: AA is extremely permanent, A being Permanent and B is moderately durable Opacity: T is Transparent and O is Opaque or semi-opaque.
